STILL INSIST ON LETTING YOUR CAT ROAM FREELY OUTDOORS? PLEASE:
- Microchip your Cat
- Do not leave food outside as it may attract wildlife, including predators
- Never let your cat remain outdoors overnight
- Be sure your cat has a safe place to get away from something that may be chasing it
- Use flea and tick preventatives
- Check your cat daily for signs of injury

OTHER SIMPLE WAYS TO KEEP CATS HAPPY INSIDE:
- Provide lots of verticle levels (cat trees, shelves and other things that allow cats to climb will keep them active and make them feel more secure
- Get them a kitty friend! Despite cats being known as solitary creatures the truth is that many form very strong bonds with other cats and enjoy playing, grooming and sleeping with a furry friend
- Set aside time each day to play with your cat - interactive toys sich as laser toys are a great way to keep kitty active and amused
- Catnip - enough said!
- Be sure they can see out windows and bask in the sun - but also be sure that window screens and screen doors are secure!
- Offer good, sturdy places to scratch
- Offer lots of attention and love
